Sam Bemiss is a managing director of Ewing Bemiss & Co.  Prior to joining the firm in 1996, Sam was vice president of William Kent International, Inc., an international strategic consulting firm.  Before joining William Kent International, he directed merger and acquisition, and business development activities at BNE Associates, a Boston-based middle market investment banking firm affiliated with the Bank of New England. 

Sam began his investment banking career as an associate in the corporate finance department of Goldman Sachs & Co., and was subsequently a vice president in charge of the New England investment banking activities of Shearson Lehman Hutton, Inc. 

He is a graduate of Yale University, the School of Law and the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia (JD/MBA).
