Prior to joining Ewing Bemiss & Co. in 2008, James held intern positions at Merck & Co., Inc. and Virginia Asset Management, LLC.   He is a graduate of the University of Richmond (BA in Economics, magna cum laude).  As an undergraduate, he also completed coursework in Economics and Finance at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
