Ewing Bemiss & Co. Announces the Sale of Two Landfill Gas-To-Energy Facilities Managed by Ridgewood Renewable Power LLC to Macquarie Infrastructure Partners II
Richmond, Virginia – Ewing Bemiss & Co. is pleased to announce that it represented Ridgewood Renewable Power, LLC (“Ridgewood”) in the sale of two landfill gas-to-energy facilities held by associated investment vehicles to Macquarie Infrastructure Partners II (“MIP II”).
The facilities are located at the Olinda Alpha Sanitary Landfill in Brea, California and at the Central Landfill in Johnston, Rhode Island and have existing generating capacity of 5.6 and 20.4 megawatts, respectively. MIP II has arranged financing for expansion projects at both facilities, which once complete will increase their combined renewable energy generating capacity to 77.8 megawatts. The Ridgewood management team has been hired by MIP II and will continue to oversee the development, construction, and operations of the two projects.
