Ewing Bemiss & Co. Announces the Recapitalization of Granite Seed Company
Richmond, Virginia – Ewing Bemiss & Co. is pleased to announce that Granite Seed Company (“Granite Seed” or the “Company”) has been recapitalized by Marwit Capital (“Marwit”). Ewing Bemiss & Co. represented Granite Seed Company in the transaction. Sam Bemiss, Brent Belding and Jennifer Blessing worked on the transaction for Ewing Bemiss & Co. Granite Seed is a leading distributor of seed, erosion control products and planting aids used for land reclamation and management of rangeland, pasture and turf. Granite Seed’s products are used primarily to re-vegetate land following dramatic disturbances caused by wildfire; oil and gas exploration, development and transportation; surface mining; highway construction; and real estate development. Based in Lehi, Utah, the Company sells seeds for grasses, wildflowers, forbs, shrubs, trees, legumes and cover crops as well as products that protect seedbeds from damage by water and wind.
